Grandpa Green sent Lucy and Jack some wooden Christmas tree advent calendars. So far, we have been putting a little treat in each cupboard for them to find in the morning. Each day they rush down the stairs to check their in their Christmas trees. I am excited for this to be a new tradition in our family. I will have to say that having kids--especially ones old enough to understand what is going on--makes the holidays so much more enjoyable.
On another note, Jack was really excited one day to show me that he fit under the laundry basket. Go Jack!

The same day, I saw Alice scooting around the floor wearing Jack's Hiccup hat.
