Santa Mouse visited us last night. We left a piece of cheese--the kids were certain half a slice would be sufficient--and put out our shoes. Santa Mouse was really generous to Lucy, Jack, Alice, and me. But, he only gave Leland one tiny piece of candy. Lucy thought it was a funny joke, but she put some candy in Leland's shoe so he wouldn't feel bad.

Then, in the middle of the night, he came!
(I hope our teeth don't rot!)
(That dog Alice is holding is not part of this. She just loves to hug stuffed animals when she finds them.)
