Jack Jabez Faux

This is Jack. As you can tell from this picture, he's a cool dude. He was born March 11, 2008 and was 7 lbs 19 inches. His middle name is pronounced JAY-biz. It's a family name on my paternal side that I've always thought was kind of cool. Plus, I think Jack is becoming a popular name now-a-days so his odd middle name should make up for the increasing commonality of his first.

Lucy and Jack get along really well. Lucy loves him and always tries to help us take care of him. Periodically she will try to pick him up. It pretty funny because he probably weighs almost as much as she does at this point. She's so petite. Here's a picture of them just being friends:
We feel so blessed to have two wonderful children in our family. They are so much fun and make us laugh pretty much everyday. So far Jack has shown a lot of interest in music, TV (I like to say mostly sports programming because he watched a lot of the NBA playoffs with me. He would have been just as interested in My Little Pony though), and attention from me, Catherine, or Lucy. He was also really interested in the raspberry ice cream we let him lick once. He looked very surprised at that.

We like to call him Jack Attack, Jacker the Snacker (very fitting), Jacker the Attacker (he beat up my sister Hannah pretty good), and a guy in our ward calls him Captain Jack which we like but don't ever use for some reason. We are excited to see him continue to develop and we are so greatful to our Heavenly Father that he is a part of our family.

Jack, if you ever read this, you are an awesome mini man guy baby!
