All growing up, we would put our shoes outside our bedroom doors and wake to find a little chocolate egg surrounding a mini toy. I wanted to continue this tradition in my own family. But, I was always confused when St. Nicholas came on December 5th and Santa Claus came on December 25th. So, since Santa Mouse is one of our favorite Christmas books, Leland and I decided that Santa Mouse should leave the mini gift.
