Happy Halloween!

We trick-or-treated in Salem with my sister Bethany. It was really cold and the kids did not want to wear coats over their costumes, so we went to about five houses.
(This is a picture of the table my dad keeps decorated. It's pretty cool.)

Lucy was a witch. I made her cape. She loved being a witch and spotting other witches. She also handed out candy to trick-or-treaters at my dad's house. She was so proud of herself. Sometimes she said, "You can take two." and sometimes she just put two pieces in each person's bucket or bag. It was really cute to watch her and she was very proud of her responsibility. She's getting so big!

This is before we went trick-or-treating. Leland added fake muscles on Jack's costume, but then decided it looked better before. oh well.

I was a cat. Lucy took my picture. I didn't have my cat ears on, but you can see the tail I made out of one of Leland's old socks, some stuffing, a wire hanger, and on old belt. (I proud to say I spent no $ on my costume and made it in twenty minutes yesterday.)

Leland was a Zombie. I think he scared all of the little kids-including Jack, who asked if his eyes were going to get better. We told him it was not real and he smiled a bit before asking if it hurt. I am not sure he understood, but oh well. It was pretty cool.
