Since Alice absolutely loves animals, we decided to take her to Build A Bear for her birthday. She was tickled. Leland and I let each of the kids pick out a bear to stuff and name and a shirt for the bear to wear. Then, we went home and had pizza, cupcakes, and soda and opened presents. Jordan, Rose, Papi, and Mimi came over to help us celebrate.
It has been so fun having a 3 year old Alice. She is able to sit at church for the whole sacrament meeting! She still needs and takes naps daily! She is learning how to use her words before throwing a fit (She has had the fit part down since she was 1, but now we are working on inserting some words first)!
Alice still loves animals--especially our new kitten, Gigi. She loves helping her brother, Dexter. She and He are thick as thieves. And, actually they are thieves. (Don't leave any candy or chap stick lying around.)
Our favorite Alice expressions are: "I want to do that either." and "Can we do that togain?"
Leland and I often use those expressions after the kids have gone to bed.
Alice loves to eat nearly everything and we can always count on her to have a hearty appetite.
She loves Curious George and reviewing her letters and numbers on her fisher price laptop.
